Taylor A. Burke has a practice that includes general litigation, elder law, and guardianships. As a litigator, he has experience in areas such as employment law, legal malpractice, consumer law, premises liability, and mental health law. He has served as a court-appointed attorney and guardian ad litem.
Mr. Burke has been a member of the Hudson Hall Wheaton Chapter of the American Inns of Court since law school. He is a member of the Tulsa County and Oklahoma Bar Associations and is admitted to all three federal district courts in Oklahoma.
A 2006 graduate of The University of Tulsa College of Law, Mr. Burke was active in a number of organizations and activities, notably legal clinic, moot court, and student government. His honors included selection to the Order of Barristers, the Gardere Wynne Sewell Environment Law Award, and a publication on nuclear energy in the Boston University Journal of Science and Technology Law.
Mr. Burke earned his B.A. in 2002 from The University of Tulsa with honors, majoring in political science and history, and received awards for academic achievement in both programs. While an undergrad, he also served as the debate coach at Booker T. Washington and a guardian ad litem for Court Appointed Special Advocates. A fourth generation Tulsan and a second generation Tulsa attorney, Mr. Burke is involved in his alma mater and community through various fundraising efforts and avid support of TU athletics. |
